The Laura Dore SHOWPiece in London issue is on stands now. I thumbed through the pages and picked my 12 favorites which were mostly two page images. Like all the other SHOWcase, SHOWPiece and Paradise issues, it is pure gold.

I can’t wait for my 2011 pin-up calendar to come out! I had so much fun shooting it. I shot it with Shannon Brooke, and every month is based on a famous pinup painting. We recreated the work of Gil Elgvren, Olivia and Vargas just to name a few. Jen did a fantastic job doing the time period makeup while Diana was somehow able to pull together the outfits similar to those featured in the classic illustrations. Danielle did incredible with the retro-inspired hair, and Conner built the wonderful sets. We shot for two days straight, and had so much fun doing it….Despite us working ten hour days, the experience was well worth it, and it should be on stands near the end of July.
